Community Associates, a program of the Counseling Service of Addison County, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. In this role, you’ll work directly with adults with developmental disabilities supporting them in job and community activities. You’ll help them gain independence, build communication and social skills, and foster connections that create a true sense of community.

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Compassionate and patient
• Dependable and flexible
• A strong communicator with      sound judgment
• A natural mentor (a big      plus!)
• Enjoys being active in the      community
• Has good boundary setting      skills

This particular position is assigned to a group of clients who reside in one of our residential sites. The schedule could be either Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday OR Thursday-Monday at 32.5 hours/week.  Part-time positions would be also considered.  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or      equivalent
• Clean background and      driving record
• Personal vehicle with      required insurance coverage

Pay: $19/hour
