DevOps Engineer

We are currently seeking for a IT Operations/DevOps Engineer (or graduated software engineer) to ​build, maintain, secure and troubleshoot our expanding cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines and services. Our ideal candidate has at least ​2 years of professional experience, knowing Clean Code good practices, SOLID principles, TDD and fluent oral English. 

• Cloud Architecture
  • Provide recommendations for containers, infrastructure (IaaS), platform (PaaS) and function (FaaS) architecture to ensure proper load balancing and clustering to ensure maximum uptime
  • Ensure proper documentation is maintained on all projects
  • Build client pricing models for Cloud Services, optimizing cost and performance
• Security
  • Apply critical security patches to our production systems
  • Maintain standards compliance
  • Setup intrusion detection systems and prevention methods
• Support
  • Setup monitors for all cloud related resources (applications, jobs, etc) keeping an eye on logs and alerts
• Deployment
  • Setup deployment and rollback processes
  • Build DevOps pipelines and services
  • Assist with release management and System Reliability Engineering (SRE)
  • Ensure proper backup and restore policies are in place

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering
• Required to have at least one, per category
  • Cloud Platforms: Azure, AWS, Google, Heroku
  • Deployment Pipelines and Tools: Azure Dev Ops, AWS Cloud Formation, Jenkins, AWS Code Pipelines
  • Source Control Repositories: Azure Dev Ops, GitHub
  • Server Monitoring Techniques
  • Cloud Logging Tools: Azure App Insights, AWS Cloud Watch
  • Containerization Tools/Techniques: Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Container Services
  • Web Application Servers: IIS, Apache
  • Database Servers: MySql, MS SQL, Postgres
