Direct Support Professional, DSP (Mon-Fri AM)

Role Specifics

Shift: AM/PM

Two-Week Rotation

Week A: 15-20 hours

• Monday 11:00am - 3:00pm
• Tuesday 11:00am - 3:00pm
• Wednesday 11:00am - 3:00pm
• Thursday 11:00am - 3:00pm
• Friday 11:00am - 3:00pm

Week B: 9-12 hours

• Tuesday: 11:00am-3:00pm
• Wednesday: 11:00am-3:00pm
• Thursday 11:00am-3:00pm

**Please be aware that the schedule for this individual is NOT CONSISTENT and the amount of hours vary week to week but staff will work between the timeframe of 11am-3pm.**

Rate of Pay $20.00/hour

Direct Support professionals (DSP's) work with individuals with disabilities to help them gain skills and more independence in areas such as communication, cooking, housekeeping, budgeting, personal safety, health, and recreation.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of relevant work experience
• Driver's License, car insurance, reliable vehicle for work purposes
• Ability to read, write and speak English at a level that meets the performance requirements; or must be able to communicate in the language spoken by the individual at a level that meets the performance requirements; whichever is deemed more important by the company
• Ability to meet licensing requirements of the state and county
• Lifting/transferring requirements vary based on assigned caseload. Ability to lift 75 pounds and transfer individuals as needed
• May be exposed to animals, including but not limited to dogs, cats, pet rodents, birds or pet reptiles
