About the Role

Integrity Support Solutions is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support a young woman with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) during group community outings on Thursdays. This position is ideal for someone who is energetic, compassionate, and enthusiastic about helping others enjoy life to the fullest in a group setting.
Case Details – Group Outing Support
- 1:1 support for a friendly young woman
- Participate in planned group activities such as community events, shopping trips, nature walks, or dining outings
- Focus on building independence, communication, and social skills
- Transportation provided by staff (mileage reimbursed)
- Looking for a DSP who is reliable, positive, and outgoing
Schedule
- Thursdays: Times will vary based on activity (approx. 4–6 hours/week)
- Additional hours may be available with other clients
Responsibilities
- Accompany individual to and from group outings and community events
- Foster social engagement and community participation
- Assist in following person-centered goals and support plans
- Ensure safety and provide active supervision during outings
- Complete accurate and timely shift documentation
- Encourage independence, dignity, and personal choice
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in DSP, caregiver, or similar role (preferred)
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance (required)
- Must pass PA criminal background check and drug screening
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
