Integrity Support Solutions is seeking a compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support an individual in Downingtown, PA. This role focuses on life skills development, community integration, and supporting the client’s journey toward greater independence.
Current Opening – Downingtown, PA
- Work 1:1 with a highly capable and motivated adult with intellectual/developmental disabilities (IDD)
- Support goals related to cooking, personal organization, budgeting, communication, and community engagement
- Help foster confidence and self-advocacy in daily routines and recreational activities
Weekday afternoon and evening shifts available. Additional hours may be available based on performance and client needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide respectful support with daily living skills (meal prep, hygiene, housekeeping, etc.)
- Encourage participation in social and community-based activities
- Document client progress, behaviors, and goals each shift
- Build a positive, supportive relationship with the client
- Ensure client safety and uphold individual rights at all times
Qualifications
Experience: 1–2 years in a DSP, caregiver, or similar role preferred
Education: High school diploma or GED (required)
Licensing: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance (required)
- Must pass a Pennsylvania criminal background check and drug screening
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
