Integrity Support Solutions is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support a young woman with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) during Community Participation Support (CPS) on Wednesdays from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys being active in the community and making a meaningful difference through shared experiences.
Case Details – Community-Based Role
- 1:1 support for a vibrant and active young woman
- Engage in community outings such as shopping, dining, parks, libraries, or fitness centers
- Focus on building social skills, communication, independence, and community inclusion
- Transportation provided by staff (mileage reimbursed)
- Must be upbeat, safety-conscious, and dependable
Schedule
- Wednesdays: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM (5 hours/week)
- Additional hours may be available with other clients
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, person-centered support during outings
- Assist in meeting personal and program goals for inclusion and skill-building
- Ensure safety and active supervision in community settings
- Promote choice, independence, and respectful interaction
- Accurately document progress and activities at the end of each shift
- Establish a positive, supportive relationship with the individual
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in DSP, caregiver, or related roles (preferred)
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance (required)
- Must pass PA criminal background check
- Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
