What is a Direct Support Professional (DSP)?Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in daily living. DSPs give these members of our community an opportunity to experience independence with some assistance. As a DSP, you will teach and assist in daily tasks that are often taken for granted such as daily hygiene, housekeeping, transportation, and conversation. Frequently, these individuals have a written support plan in place that will guide you in improving their lives.

Requirements

To be considered for employment for the role of Direct Support Professional (DSP):

• 18+ years of age
• Valid Indiana driver's license
• Current auto insurance
• Reliable transportation
• High school diploma/G.E.D preferred
