Position Title: RBT/Direct Support Professional

We are actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to provide personalized support and mentorship to a delightful 25-year-old gentleman on the Autism spectrum. Nestled within the warmth of his family home, this role offers a unique opportunity to join him on his journey of exploration and growth.

As such, the successful candidate will diligently adhere to all recommended behavioral and safety protocols while fostering a secure environment for personal and professional development.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting with household chores and facilitating engaging activities
- Providing guidance in basic cooking skills
- Offering support with computer literacy, including software navigation and basic programming
- Organizing and accompanying on daily community outings
- Cultivating an appreciation for and participation in artistic endeavors
Requirements:
- Possession of an RBT certificate or a bachelor’s degree or higher in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, or Gerontology
- Non-smoker
- Demonstrated expertise in adults on the Autism Spectrum and promoting independence
- Proficiency in applying a Person-Centered approach to care and embracing positive behavior support strategies
- Commitment to fostering the individual's autonomy and exploration of new experiences
- Completion of required clearances (Child Abuse, Criminal Records, FBI)
- A clean driving record
Available Openings: Monday-Thursday 7 am - 3 pm
Compensation: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour (Commensurate with experience)
