Beacon Corner Bar is a seafood restaurant serving coastal and land fare. The concept was inspired by spending summers off of Long Island in a clamming and fishing community. Serving seafood from the three coasts, East, West, and Michigan, Beacon Corner Bar will have new twists on traditional seafood classics, boils, and handhelds for our non-seafood-eating friends.

Requirements

• Experience:
• Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred but not required.

• Skills:
• Ability to operate industrial dishwashing machines.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitation techniques.
• Ability to handle and sort dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils efficiently.
• Basic understanding of kitchen operations.

• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach frequently.

• Personal Attributes:
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

• Education:
• No formal education is required, but a high school diploma or equivalent is a plus.

• Duties and Responsibilities:
• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area.
• Ensure all dishware, cookware, and utensils are sanitized and stored properly.
• Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers regularly.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of kitchen, including floors, walls, and equipment.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Support kitchen staff with additional cleaning tasks as required.
• Assist with unloading and storing kitchen deliveries.
