Summary: 

Jorgensen Farms is made up of multiple divisions, creating a unique agritourism environment that blends organic farming with special events. The Dishwasher position will be responsible for general cleanliness and deep cleaning of the catering kitchen, washing dishes and organization of back of house areas. This position is part-time and weekly hours will be determined by our events schedule. 

Responsibilities: 

• Maintains a clean and organized kitchen 
• Ensure floors are clean and dry at all times 
• Operate a dishwashing station (machine or sinks) in accordance with local county and state regulations and company policies 
• Adhere to all sanitation guidelines 
• Collects and removes trash from all areas of the operation 
• Conduct general and deep cleaning as directed by daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules 
• Cleans and sanitizes pots, pans, utensils, and other cooking equipment following established procedures
•  Cleans large equipment as assigned 
• Watch for breakage or chipped plateware and glasses and remove them from circulation 
• Ensures all work areas remain safe and clean, including trash/recycling removal, sweeping, mopping, and general cleaning duties 
• Reports any equipment that is not working properly to the head chef 
• Reports any maintenance or hazard issues to the lead steward or head chef 
• Other duties as assigned 
• Whatever it takes to create a comfortable, welcoming, and supportive environment for all staff and guests

• Ability to follow instructions both verbal and written 
• Must have the ability to work weekdays, evenings/late nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift over 50lbs. 
• Able to stand for the duration of a shift 
• Experience in dish tank and catering equipment operation preferred
