Dishwasher Part Time

San Luis Post Acute Center is now hiring a Part Time dishwasher. Great opportunity for college students. Looking for a dependable employee with a good attitude.

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, glassware, flatware, cooking utensils including using machine, and manual cleaning methods, setting up trays for our residence, and this position also ensures the dish washing area is maintained as a clean, safe and sanitary environment.

This is a great entry-level position for someone interested in enteringthe food service industry.

Responsibilities: 

Under the supervision of the Dietary manager or the cook on duty, performs general duties maintaining a clean working and eating environment.

Duties:

•Perform a variety of cleaning tasks to keep kitchen area and equipment sanitized and sterile.

•Dishwashing

•Emptying of waste containers.

•Attend staff and in-service meetings.

•Performs other duties as necessary or assigned.

Starting Hourly Wage: $18.40-$20.00 DOE

Must be able to work weekends

Schedule: 2 days a week.  Monday and Sunday 11am-7:30pm

Requirements

• Ability to follow oral and      written communications.
• This Job requires long periods      of standing, twisting, bending, kneeling.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.       
• Must demonstrate an      understanding and an ability to work with the elderly.
• Experience with institutional      food preparation desired.
