Dishwasher/Steward

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Montecillo is on the hunt for a Dishwasher Extraordinaire to keep our kitchen running smoothly and our dishes sparkling clean. If you have a passion for movies and enjoy working in a dynamic, fun environment, this is the perfect role for you!

REPORTS TO: General Manager

LOCATION: Alamo Drafthouse Montecillo 

SALARY / GRADE LEVEL: Hourly / Non-Exempt

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Ensure all dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment are clean and sanitized to perfection.

· Operate the dishwashing machine and handle hand-washing duties with efficiency and care.

· Assist kitchen staff with prep work and other duties as needed.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dishwashing areas.

· Work alongside our amazing team to ensure timely service and a fantastic guest experience.

· Help with inventory and stocking supplies to keep the kitchen running smoothly.

· Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe working environment.

· Report any maintenance or safety issues to the Kitchen Manager promptly.

· Bring a positive attitude and a strong work ethic to every shift.

· Foster a fun and collaborative atmosphere with your team members.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

· Previous experience in a kitchen or dishwashing role is a plus but not necessary – we’ll train you!

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

· Work is typically performed in the venue. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The work involves a majority of standing, bending, stooping, twisting, climbing and some lifting up to 50lbs.
