We are seeking a Part Time Dispatcher to join our team! The position of responsibilities include, but are not limited to; being responsible for each technicians schedule throughout the day and managing the dispatch board to provide effective and efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
- Sole person to handle dispatch phone
- Arrange schedule/calls on board in most efficient route for technicians
- Advise customers technician is on the way
- Check in the technicians from current calls, update comments in Software as needed
- Report any parts to be ordered or follow ups to be made to the appropriate personnel
- Monitor technician route via GPS and follow up with technicians on calls
- Schedule part replacements and AWO as see fit with technicians schedule
- Handle emails as needed
- Ensure all warranty parts are returned to warehouse as quickly as possible from technicians
- Update appropriate spreadsheet, calendar, paperwork
- Schedule vehicle maintenance as needed
- Monthly rotation with company Emergency After Hours Line (Additionally Compensated)
- Assist Management as directed.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of HVAC field, parts, and basic technical understanding
- Knowledge of basic computer functions (Microsoft, Excel, QuickBooks)
- Skill in oral and written communication
- Ability to communicate with employees, business contacts, and customers in a professional and courteous manner
