Summary

Bach to Rock is seeking a dynamic DJ Instructor to guide students in DJ fundamentals using Serato DJ. You’ll deliver engaging one‑on‑one and small‑group lessons that ignite creativity, teach technical skills, and support students as they develop their own DJ style.

Responsibilities

Teach DJ Lessons: Lead structured individual and small‑group sessions covering Serato DJ software, beat‑matching, mixing techniques, and music selection.

Encourage Creativity: Inspire students to develop their own DJ style and explore a variety of genres.

Assess Progress: Track student development, provide actionable feedback, and adapt your approach to each learner.

Foster Engagement: Create a positive, motivating atmosphere that keeps students excited about DJing.

Prepare for Showcases: Coach students for in‑studio or community performance events.

Collaborate: Work with fellow instructors and staff to share best practices and ensure program consistency.

Communicate: Maintain clear, timely updates with students and guardians about progress, goals, and scheduling.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Music, Audio Production, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).

Proficiency with Serato DJ software and basic audio equipment setup.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated enthusiasm for mentoring students and sharing DJ culture.
