Driver

Description

Candidate ensures that vehicles are always fueled and ready for use.  Performs regular cleaning and maintenance tasks.

They also follow routes and time schedules as set by the management, ensuring supplies, records and patients make it destinations in a timely manner.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Responsible for vehicle checks and maintenance, ensuring vehicles are safe and reliable to use
• Following pre-determined routes to transport goods or passengers to assigned locations
• Assisting with the loading and unloading of goods, if applicable
• Adhering to all driving laws and regulations
• Keeping logs of activities, including mileage and fuel consumption
• Communicating effectively with supervisors and team leads
• Assisting in resolving any issues that may arise 
• Carrying out basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as checking tire pressure, oil levels, and replenishing fuel
• Reporting any accidents or damages to the vehicle to the management immediately
• Perform minor maintenance duties at clinical locations
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Clean driving record.
• Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Working knowledge of local roads and routes.
• Ability to utilize maps, GPS systems, and car manuals.
• Effective communication skills.
• Punctual and reliable.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
