Driver & Material Mover (Seasonal, Day shift Mon/Tues/Weds, Part-time)

CLYNK is busier than anticipated and looking for additional Seasonal Part-time Driver & Material Movers on Day shift to join our team! The Driver & Material Mover is a crucial role where reliability, maturity, and integrity is required. You will play a key role in our mission of redeeming the bottle bill deposit fee back into customer's accounts. The first step in this process is physically collecting customer bags from our depot locations, driving to the processing facility, and unloading the bags at the processing facility. You must be able to safely operate any of the vehicles we use, including 26' box trucks, and complete routes safely and efficiently. You will be the face of CLYNK and must represent our brand with professionalism at all times. You must be able to handle the physical aspects of the position, including repetitively loading and unloading customer bags. The ideal candidate for this position will be comfortable working independently, is safety-conscious, is familiar with physical labor, and has experience driving box trucks or similar sized vehicles.

Essential Functions

• Operate our vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all state laws and DOT regulations
• Safely drive company vehicle to each depot on assigned route
• Conduct daily pre-trip inspections, reporting all issues to management
• Collect bags and load trucks efficiently to maximize capacity and minimize damage to bags
• Load and unload your vehicle independently
• Follow daily run sheet servicing all stops, picking up allotted bag amounts at each stop
• Log pickup volumes at every depot/store
• Report kiosk or store issues to management or CLYNK help desk
• Follow proper lifting techniques to ensure you are working safely
• Keep vehicle in clean condition, including interior cab
• Act as liaison between company and customers as needed

• Pre-employment screening: Must have a valid Class C license and overall clean driving record in order to be insured. Must maintain insurability throughout employment as a Driver.
• Physical requirements: Able to sit and stand for long periods of time. Ability to push, pull, lift, twist, turn, bend, kneel, squat, bend, and climb. Must be able to repetitively lift bags weighing up to 60lbs.
• Schedule: A set schedule of Mondays, Tuesdays, & Wednesdays. Shift start times are staggered 5am-10am based on business needs. Shifts end when the job duties are complete, averaging 10 hours.
• Location: You will start and end your day at the facility in Biddeford, ME.
• Travel: To Maine depots/stores as stated in job description.
