Early Learning Preschool Teacher PT and FT available

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate 

will have experience working with students in a preschool setting and possess strong skills in 

classroom management, lesson planning, and communication; We are a smaller facility with a low key 

sense of style with lots of interaction time with our students. We are looking for someone with a 

passion and sense of play. This is a great role for folks just starting out in the field, may be in 

school and need flex hours or a retiree with time on their hands but needs flexibility

to stay active in other life areas.

Essential Functions

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and Florida standards.
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for preschool-aged children
• Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a positive learning atmosphere
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress anddevelopment
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience forstudents
• Implement early intervention strategies for children with special educationneeds

Skills

• Experience working with preschool-aged students
• Proficiency in tutoring and providing individualized support
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to develop and execute age-appropriate lesson plans
• Excellent communication skills with both children and adults
• Knowledge of special education practices
• Previous childcare experience is preferred
• Background in early childhood education or related field
• Familiarity with curriculum development for young learners
• Teaching Strategies Gold experience a plus,

Qualifications

• Completed 45 DCF hours certification
• Prefer an CDA or FCCPC (will consider candidates that are currently working on those certifications)
