EEG Technician

Work Schedule: Part Time Day 8am -12pm

The EEG Technician is responsible for assuring accurate and timely neurodiagnostic testing. 

• Conducts diagnostic testing as ordered.
• Evaluates the testing data/response and quality of testing to enhance results based on patient’s age and provides timely and effective communication of apparent abnormal diagnostic testing results to appropriate neurologist.
• Selects, assembles, checks, troubleshoots and cleans all equipment used.

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience using a business office suite, such as Microsoft Office, is required

CERTIFICATION/ LICENSURE/ REGISTRATION:

   Current BLS certification or obtained prior to providing direct patient care is required

                   R.EEG T credential from the ABRET EEG Registry is preferred

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Six months experience in Electroencephalography required.
