El Paso Tutor (Early Childhood) pK -3rd Reading & Math

1. Provide one -on -one tutoring in reading and math for pK -3rd grade students.
   
2. Use engaging and creative teaching strategies to reinforce foundational skills and help students achieve grade level milestones.
   
3. Communicate regularly with staff and families about student progress, by submitting sessions reports on time.
   
4. Responsible for your own teaching materials if needed.
   
5. Follow the student’s school curriculum if requested.
   
6. Identify and target learning gaps.
   

Requirements

1. Must have a reliable form of transportation.
   
2. Strong communication skills to keep staff and families updated.
   
3. Availability between 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM, as most sessions occur after school. Weekends are optional.
   
4. Teaching experience of phonics, reading fluency, and comprehension.
