This is a thrilling one-week gig where you'll bring the magic of baseball to life! Facilitate on-turf activities, games for kids, and interactive experiences that captivate fans of all ages. If you're passionate about baseball and love engaging with people, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

• Activity Facilitation: Facilitate and assist various on-turf activities, games, and interactive experiences, including MLB PlayBall stations and games, ensuring a fun and safe environment for participants.
• Instruction and Coaching: Provide clear instructions, demonstrations, and coaching to participants, helping them learn and improve their baseball skills and techniques.
• Participant Engagement: Engage with participants in a friendly and enthusiastic manner, encouraging participation, and fostering a positive and enjoyable experience.
• Safety Monitoring: Actively monitor participant safety during on-turf activities, addressing any potential hazards or issues promptly and prioritizing the well-being of all participants.
• Event Support: Assist with the overall operation and logistics of the on-turf activities, including setup, breakdown, and any other tasks as assigned by event organizers.
• Fan Interaction: Interact with All-Star Week participants in a professional and approachable manner, answering questions, providing information, and representing EL1 Sports as a proud MLB partner.

Dates and Hours

Mandatory Orientation @Capital One All-Star Village: Friday, July 11, 2025 –2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Dates of Work:

• Saturday, July 12, 2025 - 9:30 am - 8:15 pm (flexible availability for a 6-hour shift)
• Sunday, July 13, 2025 - 9:30 am - 8:15 pm (flexible availability for a 6-hour shift)
• Monday, July 14, 2025 - 9:30 am - 8:15 pm (flexible availability for a 6-hour shift)
• Tuesday, July 15, 2025 - 9:30 am - 8:15 pm (flexible availability for a 6-hour shift)

Requirements:

• Baseball or Softball playing experience (High School level or higher required).
• Passion for diamond sports and a strong understanding of the game's rules and fundamentals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and take direction from event organizers.
• Physical stamina and ability to stand on your feet for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work 6-hour shifts each day and adapt to changing schedules during the event week.
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and creating a memorable experience for fans.
• Must complete all MLB Youth Compliance training, including the USA Baseball Child Abuse Prevention course before the in-person orientation.
• All applicants must submit to and successfully pass a background investigation.

Previous experience in coaching, instructing, or leading sports activities is preferred but not required. Training will be provided to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the on-turf activities and event protocols.
