Position Summary:

The ELA Collaborative Teacher provides targeted ELA support through push-in services in a regular education classroom. This educator works closely with classroom teachers to deliver co-taught lessons, model effective instructional strategies, and provide modifications and accommodations. A portion of this role also includes instructional coaching—equipping teachers with best practices in literacy through collaboration, modeling, lesson planning and resource sharing.

Primary Duties:

Veritas Christian Academy is seeking a spiritually grounded and passionate ELA Resource & Push-In Teacher to join our team. This unique position includes providing small-group and inclusive support in English Language Arts while also offering limited instructional coaching in literacy.

• Deliver small-group and individualized ELA instruction in a resource setting.


• Provide push-in support within general education classrooms.


• Collaborate with classroom teachers to co-plan and co-teach literacy strategies.


• Support the development and implementation of differentiated instruction.


• Analyze student data to guide instructional decisions and interventions.


• Offer coaching support to teachers on literacy best practices and classroom strategies.


• Maintain accurate records of student progress and instructional plans.


• Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and student support teams.


• Uphold and model a Christ-centered approach to teaching and learning.

Education Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in education


• Valid teaching certification in ELA (preferred)

Experience:

• Strong knowledge of literacy instruction and data-informed teaching

Salary:

$14,000 - $ $24,000 Based on Experience
