Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Elementary Tutor to work with students in the Dumont area. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting diverse learning needs, particularly students with special education needs and twice-exceptional (2e) learners.

Responsibilities

• 
  

  Provide individualized tutoring in core subjects (math, reading, writing, etc.) for students.

  
  


• 
  

  Adapt lessons to meet the needs of students with IEPs, learning differences, or gifted/2e profiles.

  
  


• 
  

  Use engaging, confidence-building strategies to support academic success.

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate progress and strategies with parents/guardians.

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  Teaching or tutoring experience with elementary and middle school students.

  
  


• 
  

  Background in Special Education (SPED) required; experience with 2e learners highly valued.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong communication and organizational skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Patient, flexible, and passionate about helping students thrive.

  
  


• 
  

  Reliable transportation to Dumont, NJ.
