EMT Night Shift Supervisor

We are a large-scale 24/7 operation with over 350 employees and 120 vehicles. Our mission is to ensure safe, timely, and comfortable transport for every patient we serve. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Night Shift Supervisor to oversee EMT operations, ensure compliance with protocols, and support our dedicated night team.

Position Summary:

The EMT Night Shift Supervisor is responsible for managing night shift operations, supervising EMT staff, ensuring quality patient care, maintaining compliance with all state and company standards, and serving as the primary point of contact for operational issues during the night shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, schedule, and support EMT crews during the night shift
• Monitor call volume, dispatch needs, and operational flow
• Ensure adherence to medical protocols, safety procedures, and company policies
• Provide guidance and assistance to EMTs in the field as needed
• Oversee vehicle readiness, equipment maintenance, and inventory checks
• Conduct shift briefings, debriefings, and incident reviews
• Serve as the on-site point of  contact for client, facility, and dispatch communications
• Prepare nightly reports and relay key updates to daytime management
• Assist with training for EMT staff

Qualifications:

• Current EMT certification - NJ or PA State EMT-B or NREMT
• 2+ years of EMT experience; prior supervisory or lead EMT experience strongly preferred
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Clean Criminal Background Check
• Negative drug screening
• Ability to lift up to 300lb patient with partner
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure
• Comfortable working overnight hours in a fast-paced environment

Schedule & Compensation:

• Night Shift: 19:00 to 0700, 3 /12-hour shifts per week
• Competitive hourly wage based on experience. Range - $26.75 – $28.79 per hour
• Shift differential pay for night hours
