Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Hospitality and Engagement Specialist to join our team. This position will focus on enriching the lives of our residents by fostering an environment of warmth, engagement, and personalized attention. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for working with individuals with dementia and will have the ability to provide exceptional hospitality while supporting resident well-being.

What We Are Looking for:

  • Engagement: Lead creative and tailored activities that promote cognitive stimulation, emotional connection, and physical well-being for dementia residents.
  • Hospitality: Provide exceptional hospitality services for our guests entering the cottage. Also, ensure that residents feel comfortable, respected, and supported in all aspects of their daily lives. 
  • Companionship: Foster positive relationships with residents through meaningful one-on-one interactions, conversation, and emotional support.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with individuals with dementia or in a senior care setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with residents and families.
  • Ability to create and facilitate activities that engage residents with varying levels of cognitive function.
  • Compassion, patience, and understanding are essential.
