Swaysland Professional Engineering Consultants, Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Technician with proficiency in AutoCAD to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of structural/civil engineering principles and be able to assist in the preparation of engineering drawings, designs, and project documentation for a variety of structural repair projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed and accurate AutoCAD drawings, including building plans, building elevations, sections, and repair details.

Collaborate with Engineers to review design specifications and ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.

Perform field measurements and site visits as necessary for project assessment.

Modify and update existing engineering drawings and documentation as needed.

Maintain organized project files and drawing records.

Support the engineering team with any other tasks as required to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications:

Current student earning bachelor degree in civil engineering

Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with structural drafting techniques.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and documentation.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.

Compensation: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
