English Language INSTRUCTOR (Part Time, In Person)

PART-TIME ESL TEACHER

Kings Education is looking for ESL teachers to teach in-person classes at our location at Fisher College in the Boston Common area. 

Duties:

• Teach 6-21 hours per week, depending on whether a teacher has been assigned 1, 2 or 3 90-minute blocks of classes. (Teachers are paid for administrative and planning time.)
• Implement designated curriculum; demonstrate accurate knowledge of content; exhibit professional practices in teaching by using teaching methods appropriate for language learners.
• Plan lessons thoroughly with clearly defined learning outcomes; assign reasonable tasks/homework to students; correct homework and provide reasonable feedback.
• Submit weekly work record (or lesson plans) to academic manager and sub plans for scheduled days off.
• Administer, grade, and record weekly assessments.
• Provide student progress and end-of-course reports when requested.
• Track and monitor daily attendance.
• Attend all faculty meetings and assist in all-school activities when requested.
• Follow all professional practices in accordance with school and system policies.

Minimum requirements include a bachelor’s degree and a TEFL certificate or equivalent work experience. Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
