Description
Environmental SME (Air Emissions)
Contractor shall be responsible for supporting NSWCPD, Code 102 Management environmental duties. These duties include environmental permitting and regulatory analysis; long and short-term facility environmental guidance; and, environmental and regulatory solutions; assist with the preparation of initial plan approvals and installation permits regarding air emissions for all existing and planned projects; assist with the oversight and management of Title V air emissions operating permits; and, assist in the review and interpretation of regulatory guidance published by US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Pennsylvania Department of Protection (PaDEP), and Philadelphia Air Management Services (AMS). The Contractor shall assist with communication and liaison with USEPA, PaDEP, and AMS.
Environmental SME (Storm Water)
Contractor shall be responsible for supporting NSWCPD Code 102 Management environmental duties. These duties include environmental permitting and regulatory analysis; long and short-term facility environmental guidance; and, environmental and regulatory solutions; assist with oversight and management of facility National Pollution Discharge and Elimination System (NPDES) permit and all monitoring and sampling requirements; prepare any wastewater discharge or reports as required by City of Philadelphia Water Department (PWD) and PADEP; assist with oversight and management of facility hazardous waste management program; assist in the review and interpretation of regulatory guidance published by US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), PaDEP. The Contractor shall assist with communication and liaison with USEPA, PaDEP, and AMS.
Requirements
Target Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree in Business or equivalent Technical Field from an accredited
University preferred (experience in lieu of degree is acceptable).
Target Experience: Ten (10) years of experience in engineering/science management, operations, financial/cost analysis. Seven
(7) years of experience in infrastructure/facilities management is preferred.
Secret security clearance or the ability to attain a secret security clearance is required
US citizenship is required.
