As the Esthetician you will administer professional skin care services, nail services, and waxing services to our guests. 

Duties

• Embrace and support the Serenity Spa’s service philosophy.
• Arrive on time for shifts and appointments; perform services within the allotted time.
• Provide consistent, professional facials, waxing, and nail treatments in accordance with spa protocols and certification standards.
• Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling to support spa needs.
• Maintain complete knowledge of all services and products; educate guests and promote home care programs to meet retail sales goals.
• Uphold sanitation and sterilization standards as required by law and spa policies.
• Prepare, clean, and restock treatment rooms as needed.
• Care for equipment properly and use appropriate product amounts to support cost control.
• Handle guest questions and concerns with professionalism and courtesy; ensure complete guest satisfaction with prompt, appropriate responses.
• Actively promote spa services, treatments, retail products, programs, promotions, and discounts.
• Communicate to management any staff or guest issues that require attention.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Contribute to a high-quality work environment.
• Attend and participate in staff meetings and training sessions regularly.
• Assist in all areas of spa operations as requested.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of skincare, facial massage, extraction techniques, and basic hand and foot massage.
• Apply nail polish neatly and maintain excellent cleanliness and sanitation skills.
• Be open to training in the spa’s treatment protocols, especially when the Esthetics Coach is unavailable.

• Must meet all licensing requirements to practice Esthetics in the state of Utah.
• High school diploma or general education degree GED.
• The Team Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Follow instructions without close supervision.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Required to pass a background screen, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
