Esthetician - Part Time

Description

This position is part time, up to 20 hours per week, with additional hours possible as client retention increases.

Saturdays are required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide thorough consultation regarding skin services requested.
• Perform technical aspects of the services that are described in the Mark Pardo Service Menu.
• Recommend home care products and correct usage of products.
• Build relationships with guests to ensure return visits.
• Complete the Aveda Service Wheel with each guest to ensure all expectations of service are met.

Requirements

• High school diploma or completion on GED
• Current New Mexico Esthetician or Cosmetology License
• Demonstrated experience in Dermaplaning
• At least one year professional experience in facial and body waxing
• Knowledge of Aveda products helpful but not required
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Willingness to be continually learning and seeking education to grow skills and stay up to date on current trends.
• Ability to receive constructive feedback and use it to positively affect performance

Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to walk; stand for up to eight (8) hours at a time; sit; use hands to handle objects; reach with hands and arms; balance, stoop, talk and hear. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the team member is exposed to a noise level that is usually minimal to moderate.
