We're a small, 25-bed assisted living community nestled in beautiful Historic Havelock, right next door to the senior center. We provide personalized care in a cozy, home-like environment where our residents are encouraged to maintain their independence while receiving the support they need. We also offer respite and hospice care.

We're looking for compassionate, dependable, and enthusiastic CNAs and Caregivers to join our evening team!

Whether you're an experienced CNA or someone with a genuine passion for helping others who's ready to learn, we'd love to meet you!

The Schedule

Evening Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

• Full-time: Five 8-hr shifts per week, or
• Part-time: 24-hrs per week
• Every other weekend required
• Consistent evening hours
• Opportunities to build meaningful relationships with residents and coworkers

What You'll Do

At Havelock Manor, caregiving is about more than completing tasks. It's about helping someone feel safe, comfortable, respected, and genuinely cared for.

As part of our evening care team, you'll help residents wind down their day while making sure their needs are met.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing compassionate, personalized assistance with daily living activities, including dressing, toileting, repositioning, and personal care
• Responding promptly to resident needs and call lights
• Assisting with meal preparation, setup, and service
• Encouraging residents to maintain their independence while ensuring their safety and comfort
• Performing light housekeeping duties, including laundry and cleaning
• Creating positive, meaningful interactions that brighten residents' days
• Helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
• Communicating important resident information to coworkers and the oncoming shift
• Working together with teammates to ensure every resident receives the attention and care they deserve

What We're Looking For

You don't need years of experience to make a difference. You just need the right heart, attitude, and work ethic!

Position Requirements:

• Current CNA certification or previous caregiving experience preferred
• Willingness to learn - we'll train the right candidate!
• Ability to pass required background checks
• Positive attitude and friendly, professional demeanor
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Willingness to work all scheduled shifts, including every other weekend
• Ability to safely lift at least 50 pounds
• Commitment to providing quality, resident-centered care

Pay & Perks

Starting Pay: $16.00+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Shift Differentials:

• Evening Shifts: +$2/hour
• Weekend Shifts: +$3.00/hour
