Home Instead is seeking compassionate and dependable Caregivers with 2+ years of experience in a facility or in-home care setting to become part of our dedicated team. As a Caregiver, you’ll provide essential support, comfort, and companionship, enriching the lives of seniors and helping them remain independent in their own homes.

Qualifications:

• 
  

  Must be at least 18 years old

  
  


• 
  

  Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance

  
  


• 
  

  Flexible schedule is required

  
  


• Caregiving experience is required


• 
  

  Able to pass a criminal background check and the Oregon ORCHARDS background check

  
  


• 
  

  Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs

  
  


• 
  

  Comfortable providing personal care, including bathing, toileting, and incontinence assistance

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with transfer equipment and mobility support preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Experience supporting clients with Alzheimer’s or dementia is a plus

  
  

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Build meaningful relationships with clients and provide companionship

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support

  
  


• 
  

  Provide medication reminders or assistance as needed

  
  


• 
  

  Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping

  
  


• 
  

  Run errands and provide reliable transportation for clients

  
  


• 
  

  Support clients in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate professionally with clients, families, and the Home Instead team

  
  


• 
  

  Help seniors navigate the challenges of aging with dignity, compassion, and respect
