Help at Home Senior Care is currently seeking someone like you to join our team in Auburn, California.  As a memory care Caregiver, you will provide personalized care to our Placer County seniors, some with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia, promoting their independence and quality of life. This is a hourly part-time healthcare position with a weekly pay schedule. We offer a competitive compensation package with a base rate of $18 to $23.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. You will play an important role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our memory care clients in their home.

Responsibilities:

- Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including personal care

- Assist with meal planning & preparation

- Monitor and report any changes in physical, mental, and emotional well-being

- Engage in meaningful activities, such as games, conversation, and exercise

- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients

- Communicate effectively with clients & families

- Follow all care plans and document care provided accurately

- Collaborate with team members to ensure the best possible care for clients

Requirements:

- Prefer Minimum of 1-year experience as a caregiver, preferably in a memory care setting

- Knowledge of Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia

- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with mobility as needed

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to pass a background check and drug test

- Valid Drivers License

- Proof of Auto Insurance 

- Reliable transportation to and from work

- Availability to work weekends and holidays, as needed

- Must be able to provide at least 3 professional references
