We are seeking friendly and experienced caregivers to provide non-medical in-home support for our clients in Danbury, Ridgefield and Newtown areas. For over 40 years, the founders of Preferred Care at Home made a difference in the lives of seniors throughout the country. These positions include Companion Care and/or Personal Care. If you compassionate about supporting our Veterans and aging population, please give us a call. We'd love to meet you!

Responsibilities: 

• Provide personal care assistance (as needed)


• Excellent communication skills with the office staff, client and family members


• Medication reminders


• Assist with light housekeeping related to client


• Support activities of daily living (ADLs: bathing toileting, dressing and mobility)


• Transport and/or accompany client to appointments or errands when needed


• Meal preparation in accordance to client preferences or dietary restrictions

Qualifications:

• Prior care giving experience required


• Reliable, patient and respectful of clients and their families


• Eligible to work in the United States


• I9, professional references and background checks required
