Experienced Residential Dispatcher (Afternoon/Evening Shift)

Our Residential Division covers HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical services, and we believe a great dispatcher is the backbone of a well-run service operation. We’re looking for an Experienced Residential Dispatcher who is ready to help lead and support our growing, unified dispatch team.

As an Experienced Residential Dispatcher at Kalos Services, you’ll serve as the critical link between our customers, field technicians, and internal teams. Your core responsibility will be to efficiently coordinate and route service calls across our Residential HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical divisions. Success in this role requires clear communication, strong multitasking skills, and the ability to stay composed under pressure — all while delivering a high level of service and support to both customers and technicians in the field. 

Compensation: $20–$24/hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday - Friday from 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 11:00AM - 8:00 PM  ( on-site)

Responsibilities: 

• Efficiently dispatch residential technicians across HVAC, plumbing, and electrical service calls
• Prioritize and assign work orders based on urgency, technician skillset, and geography
• Communicate with customers about appointment status, technician ETA, and schedule changes
• Monitor real-time job progress and adjust schedules as needed
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Residential Managers, and Service Coordinators to ensure smooth operations across divisions
• Provide accurate and timely updates to customers and team members
• Ensure daily technician capacity is optimized to meet performance and revenue goals
• Use dispatching software (ServiceTitan or similar) to track, document, and manage work orders
• Assist with after-call follow-up, job status updates, and escalation of unresolved service issues

• 3+ years of dispatching experience in a residential home services company (HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical preferred)
• Strong multitasking, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Clear and professional communication — both written and verbal
• Ability to stay organized and focused in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborative attitude with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Comfort with dispatch/CRM platforms (experience with ServiceTitan is a strong plus)
• Must be comfortable working on-site in our Clermont office

• Experience dispatching across multiple trades or service lines
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Familiarity with Central Florida geography for smarter routing
• Adaptable to changing schedules and urgent service requests
