Experimental Machinist 1 (Part Time)

Set up and operate various machine tools, including milling machines, lathes, and grinders. Perform inspections and tests on machined parts to ensure adherence to tolerances and specifications. Collaborate with engineering teams to provide feedback and suggestions for design improvements. High school diploma or equivalent. Currently enrolled in an Associate's program in Machining or a related discipline. Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. US citizenship required. Experience with CNC machines and programming. Experience with CAD/CAM software. Previous experience in a prototype or experimental manufacturing environment. Experience in machining or a related field. Experience operating manufacturing equipment, including mills and lathes. Experience with blueprint reading and measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).
