Position: Outside Events Bartender

Department: Taproom and Events

Reports to: Taproom Manager

Pay Status: Hourly wage; Event tips when applicable

FLSA Classification: Non Exempt

Location:  Variable based on event location

We are seeking a skilled bartender to join our outside events team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working in the service industry and providing exceptional customer service. As an outside events bartender, you will be responsible for serving craft beer and alcoholic beverages and ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable experience.  If you are a passionate bartender with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Create a welcoming, inclusive, and friendly atmosphere for guests
• Educate visitors about our products, company and culture
• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic beverages and filling growlers for customers
• Maintain a clean and organized bar and taproom area
• Ensure that all drinks are served to the highest quality standards
• Provide exceptional customer service to all guests
• Check identification to ensure that all guests are of legal drinking age
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
• Perform daily opening and closing procedures
• Adhering to safety practices
• Maintaining vendor and customer relationships 
• Perform tasks in the POS system (Arryved)
• Perform event set up and tear down of event location
• Transportation of event equipment and product

Requirements

• Preferred experience as a bartender
• Preferred knowledge of garnishing, and serving drinks
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Valid Drivers License or reliable transportation
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Primary hours will be on the weekends.  Must be able to work flexible hours, including afternoons, evenings.  
• Physical requirements able to assist in lifting and moving kegs up to 165 lbs
