Fabricator - 2nd Shift

VSC Fire & Security in Houston, Texas is seeking candidates for the position of Fabricator for 2nd Shift (3:30 pm - 2:00 am).

What you need:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and /or drawings to determine the specific requirements.


• Can operate machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators.


• Uphold all ISO and OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above.


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


• Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks emphasis on safety and quality standards.

What you will do:

• Responsible for fitting and welding of steel, aluminum and stainless-steel parts using a TIG process.


• Set up welding machines based on the job using a Welding Procedure Specification.


• Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.


• Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.


• Responsible for fitting and welding of steel aluminum, and stainless-steel, assembling parts, and complete any tasks assigned by a supervisor.


• Maintain proper Risk Management and Safety procedures on all job sites per VSC policies.

This role is designated as safety-sensitive due to responsiblities that could entail the use of motor vehicles, mobile equipment, working at heights, climbing ladders, and utilizing lift equipment.
