Facilities Caretaker - Part Time

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Facilities Caretaker to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, follow established cleaning protocols, and contribute to the overall upkeep of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and surface sanitization.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, office spaces, and kitchen areas.
• Empty trash bins and replace liners regularly.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed.
• Follow all safety guidelines and cleaning procedures to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for company events or meetings.
• Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
• Adhere to company policies regarding cleanliness and sanitation.
• Follow specific cleaning protocols for different facility areas and use appropriate cleaning agents and tools.

Requirements

• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or facilities maintenance strongly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures is a plus.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Availability to work part-time hours, including occasional support for company events.
