Facilities Support

Position Summary:
The Part-Time Cleaner / Facilities Support is responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly, and welcoming workplace environment. This position includes routine cleaning tasks, light upkeep of shared spaces, and the care of indoor and outdoor plants and flowers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in offices, hallways, and common areas.
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and replace liners.
• Wipe down desks, counters, and high-touch surfaces with disinfectants.
• Clean restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and replenishing supplies.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and windowsills.
• Clean glass doors and windows as needed.
• Restock cleaning and restroom supplies from storage.
• Water indoor plants and outdoor flowers according to schedule.
• Monitor plant health and notify supervisor if special care is needed.
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs.
• Follow company safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.

Work Environment:

• Primarily indoors with occasional outdoor flower-watering tasks.
• Must be able to use cleaning products safely and wear protective gear as required.

Qualifications:

• Prior cleaning or janitorial experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and perform physical cleaning tasks.
• Dependable, trustworthy, and respectful of company property.
