Facility Cleaner

Description

 Daily

· Sweep/mop entryways, stairs, lunchroom, dust furniture and wall hangings

· Clean lunchroom tables/chairs, countertops, cabinet facings as needed, microwaves and other small appliances.

· Clean all doors inside and out, disinfect all door handles

· Clean toilets/urinals with scrubber, clean sinks/mirrors

· Fill all dispensers as needed (soap, paper towel, toilet paper, feminine product, seat covers)

· Weekly inventory of all paper, soap and cleaning products/supplies and provide to HR Rep.

· Empty and dispose of all trash to dumpster

· Seasonal duties such as salt on ice near steps and walking paths to building, rake leaves near ramp door

Weekly - Add the following:

• Clean refrigerator inside and out- throw away old food weekly
• Clean bathroom stalls
• Dust walls & baseboards; remove smudges, remove cobwebs, clean inside window glass
• Other assigned duties

Requirements

· A general knowledge of cleaning products, supplies, and techniques for cleaning

· Able to follow directions, ability to work well alone, able to work as scheduled

· Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties

· Able to adapt to changing schedules or routines, excellent time management skills

· Attention to detail when cleaning, organized and able to follow a schedule

· High School diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to climb stairs.

Ability to lift up-to 30 lbs. Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine
