Facility Security Manager

Description

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Part-Time Facility Security Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for patrolling our storage properties to ensure the safety and security of our facilities, prevent break-ins, and deter loitering. Previous experience is not required; we will provide the necessary training for the right candidate.

Schedule: Facility Maintenance Manager works 15-20 hours per week during the overnight shift, and some weekends or holidays may be required. 

Location: Facility Patrol Officers will split time between assigned KO Storage locations in Wichita, KS.

Compensation: Starting wage is $18 - $20 / hour, depending on previous experience, as well as mileage reimbursement at the Federal standard rate.

A Day in the Life

• Patrol and monitor the premises regularly to maintain order and establish a visible security presence.
• Inspect and secure doors to prevent unauthorized entry.
• Report any suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security breaches to the appropriate authorities.
• Assist in the implementation of security protocols and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service to tenants and visitors, answering questions and providing directions as needed.
• Complete daily reports and maintain accurate records of all activities and incidents.

• You must have a valid drivers’ license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
• You must be available to complete all tasks within a timely manner.
• You are a critical problem solver who enjoys finding creative solutions to challenges.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to traverse facility to diagnose building issues, repairs, and/or maintenance.
• Walking, standing for extended periods; bursts of quick movement.
• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
