Storage of America is actively seeking a dedicated Part-Time (Up to 29 hours per week during temporary leasing period; reduced to 20 hours per week thereafter) Facility Supervisor to join our team. This pivotal role is responsible for supervising and maintaining the curb appeal, cleanliness, and security of our multi-million-dollar self-storage facility.
In addition to regular responsibilities, the position will include temporary leasing duties (approximately 10 hours weekly) during a tentative period from June through September, assisting tenants with the rental process, answering questions, and conducting facility tours.
Once the temporary leasing role concludes, the position will be reduced to 20 hours per week.
The Facility Supervisor reports directly to the Regional Manager.
Responsibilities:
Supervision and Maintenance:- Supervising and maintaining the curb appeal, cleanliness, and security of the self-storage facility.
Security Oversight:- Ensure the security measures of the facility are upheld to safeguard the premises.
Reporting Structure:- Report directly to the Regional Manager.
Field-Based Role:
- Work as a field-based employee, bringing energy, professionalism, and a strong work ethic to the role.
- Temporarily assist prospective tenants with rentals, tours, and questions (tentatively June–September)
Physical Demands:- Ability to meet physical demands associated with the role, including bending, lifting, kneeling, and other tasks as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Energetic, professional, and hard-working individual.
- Self-starter with attention to detail and light maintenance skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
- Ability to operate tablets, smartphones, and related software confidently
- Have a team player mentality.
- Ability to meet physical demands associated with the role.
- Must pass a background check and a drug test.
