FACILITY SUPERVISOR (PART-TIME)

Reports To: RECREATION COORDINATOR

FSLA Status:  NON-EXEMPT

SUMMARY

Under general supervision of the Recreation Coordinator during all league games and events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Maintain continuous surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure the safety of patrons in the event of an emergency.


• Control and report unruly behavior; evict individuals not adhering to behavior protocols.


• Spot hazards or potential hazards and take measures to prevent accidents.


• Maintain a clean workspace for patrons and staff.


• Maintain accurate records, as required.


• Perform other related duties, as requested.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Must be minimum of 25 years of age


• Must hold a valid current CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, First Aid certification or equivalent OR be willing to secure
  

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to provide good and effective communication both orally and written; capacity to understand and follow oral and written orders.

• Remain alert with no lapses in consciousness.


• Must be able to easily move through all program areas and effectively communicate and actively interact with patrons.


• Ability to work as a team member.


• Ability to work independently and to be accurate, efficient, and organized.


• Stand, sit, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl frequently.


• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds frequently.

WORK CONDITIONS

This position requires working in internal and external environments; requires a flexible schedule to include nights and/or weekends. 

WORK SCHEDULE

No more than 20 Hours per week, 1,040 per fiscal year
