Job Description - Family Enrollment Specialist

At Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers, we believe in building authentic, meaningful connections with the families and communities we serve.

We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Family Enrollment Specialist to join our early childhood education team. This part-time job share position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with families, understands the importance of early learning, and thrives in a supportive, community-focused environment.

Position Details
Location: Onsite, Lake Orion, Michigan
Status: Part-time, job share
Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday 16-20 hours per week
Pay range: $16-$20 per hour

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Qualify, the Family Enrollment Specialist serves as the first point of contact for families interested in enrolling in our early childhood programs.

Guides families through the enrollment process, including application assistance, eligibility verification, and documentation collection.
Maintains accurate and confidential records in accordance with program and licensing requirements.
Collaborates with campus leadership to fill targeted enrollment openings.
Provides families with information about available services, resources, and community support.
Organizes and leads outreach events and activities to promote enrollment and family engagement.
Coordinates staff availability and calendars/scheduling campus tours

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, Social Work, or a related field preferred.
Experience working with families in an educational or social services setting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a welcoming and supportive demeanor.
Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Intellikid Systems (enrollment database).
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers provides tuition based and grant funded early learning programs for children from Infants to PreK. We currently operate three centers in Northern Oakland County; Clarkston, Lake Orion and Rochester and have the capacity to care for more than 600 children. Each of our centers has earned a certificate of recognition from Great Start Quality, the equivalent of a five-star rating.
