Family Visitation Aide

About this role

As our Family Visitation Aide, you will work to support children who are under DCFS guardianship, by providing them transportation to family visits and appointments.  This position works closely with our Child Welfare Case managers and Therapists, to assist with appointment scheduling, visitation supervision, and retrieving documentation from other community providers.  You will maintain documented reports on your supervision of the children/youth and communicate these with treatment staff, to ensure that quality care, supervision, and services are in place.

Does the following apply to you?

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience working with children or youth preferred
• Willing and able to complete a physical and TB (PPD) test within 30 days of hire
• Valid State Driver’s License and automobile insurance.
  • If relocating to Illinois – IL driver’s license MUST be obtained within thirty (30) days of hire
