Farm Store Sales Associate

Description

We are seeking a part-time Farm Store Sales Associate at our Plainview, MN, location. In this position, you will provide excellent customer service at our retail store by handling feed orders, answering questions, and loading products into customers' vehicles.

Requirements

As a part-time Farm Store Sales Associate, you can anticipate working approximately 20 to 25 hours per week, with the possibility of 40 to 45 hours during peak weeks in the spring season. Your responsibilities will include:

· Assisting customers with product selection and answering product questions.

· Accurately processing and handling payments.

· Keeping the store clean and well-stocked, and maintaining the outdoor areas.

· Assisting with inventory counts and product orders.

· Coordinating with manufacturing locations for customers’ orders.

· Safely operating a forklift to load and unload trucks.

Qualifications required:

· Must be over age 18 and eligible to work in the United States.

· Must be able to work weekdays and Saturdays.

· Proficient computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Suite programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

· Excellent communication skills and a friendly and outgoing personality

· Attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to lift between 50 and 100 pounds. Regularly stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, push and pull.

· Ability to work outdoors in hot and cold climates.

· Basic math skills are necessary.

Agricultural experience or background is preferred but not required.

The starting pay range for this hourly position is $18.00 to $21.00, depending on your job-related skills and experience. You can join our 401k Retirement Plan and earn paid time off as a part-time employee.
