Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Field Service Technician to join our team. This part-time role involves performing service repairs and handling warranty requests for our manufactured products, which include Park Model RVs, Tiny Homes, and Manufactured Housing models. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general housing and residential construction and be capable of addressing a variety of maintenance and repair needs.

Essential Functions:

• Perform service repairs and handle warranty requests.
• Is able to identify, troubleshoot, repair and diagnose service issues or warranty concerns to ensure the proper solution is utilized.
• Conduct drywall repairs; is able to repair caulk or grout issues
• Paint and touch-up both interior and exterior surfaces.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical systems within the unit or the connection to the unit
• Identify and address plumbing issues and perform necessary repairs
• Repair and troubleshoot appliances such as microwave, stove/oven, refrigerator, hot water heaters, etc..
• Provide general construction and carpentry support as needed.
• Travel within a 150-mile radius to service locations.
• Maintain accurate records of service requests and repairs within the designated system and reporting tools.
• Communicate effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Represents the company at all times through professional conduct, maintains a neat and orderly work area, provides comprehensive services and support, and communicates effectively with customers and vendors.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Proven experience in general or residential construction, including drywall repair, painting, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.

Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Ability to provide basic assessment for tools and materials needed based on the scope of the work

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Willingness to travel within a 150-mile radius.

Flexibility to work varying hours based on workload and demand.
