Job Description - Fitness Sales Associate / Marketing manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a Fitness Sales Associate to join the team at our successful gym! As a Fitness Sales Associate, your goal is to increase membership numbers through social media, email marketing, and other traditional of non-traditional marketing methods. You will be given a lot of freedom to be creative with your marketing ideas. The ideal candidate has excellent customer service and sales skills, a positive attitude, and is very active in the local community (PTA, church or temple, social groups, etc. in New Rochelle, Eastchester, Scarsdale, Mamaroneck or nearby areas). A passion for fitness is also a plus.

Responsibilities

Greet members, guests, and prospective members as they arrive at the gym

Answer phone calls and assist members

Communicate with leads and potential members through calls, texts, emails, and in-person meetings

Provide an excellent onboarding experience

Assist members with resolving any concerns or complaints

Create marketing campaigns

Update website

Create automated emails

Create and post social media content

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED required

Previous customer service or sales experience

Proficient in MS Office and other computer programs

Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Compensation: $30,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
