Flex Final Ops - 2nd Shift or 3rd Shift

Position Title:               FLEX Final Ops

Department:                  FLEX Final Ops

Reports to:                     Supervisor, FLEX FINAL OPS

Primary Responsibility:

Perform various types of testing and inspections on all RotoMetrics Flexible Die products using granite/poly surface plates with indicator stands, test machines, creasing machines, micrometers, calipers, and other types of check gauges.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Proofread paperwork and check material specifications versus customer materials when supplied


• Set up and run a test machine


• Perform inspections of cut quality, liner strikes / several quality checks on tools


• Perform final clearance checks on tools using indicators on stands when indicated


• Update transactions using oracle and WIP mover programs on the computers


• Other related duties as assigned to meet departmental and company objectives

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Must have strong communication skills


• Ability to assimilate and retain quickly a variety of information pertaining to several products


• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively


• Ability to work with minimal supervision


• Knowledge of basic math skills


• Must be able to pay close attention to details


• Able to work in a fast-paced environment


• Must work well under pressure


• Ability to work well with others


• Ability to work well in a team environment


• Basic skill level of computers

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent

Physical requirements

• Able to lift 35 pounds several times a day with one hand


• 20/20 vision or better


• Stand for extended periods of time


• Ability to look thru microscopes for detail


• Some overtime required


• Physically able to wear PPE required to perform job tasks
