Position Overview: We are seeking a creative and passionate Floral Designer to join our team on a part-time, hourly basis. This position will involve crafting custom floral arrangements for weddings, events, and special occasions, while maintaining our high standards of design, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Floral Arrangement Design: Create unique, aesthetically pleasing floral arrangements for weddings, corporate events, parties, and other special occasions. 
• Client Consultations: Work with Sales Manager to understand the client’s vision, preferences, and event themes. Provide expert advice and recommendations on flower choices, colors, and designs. 
• Floral Preparation and Assembly: Prepare and assemble bouquets, centerpieces, corsages, boutonnieres, and other floral pieces based on client orders and specifications. 
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of flowers and supplies, ensuring that stock is well-maintained and fresh. Assist with ordering flowers and materials as needed. 
• Event Set-Up & Delivery: Help with event set-up on location (Normandy Farm Hotel & Conference Center, Blue Bell Country Club or other event venues). This may include delivering and arranging flowers at the event site. 
• Maintain Studio Cleanliness: Keep the floral studio organized, clean, and safe. Ensure tools, supplies, and flowers are stored properly. 
• Collaborative Teamwork: Work alongside other designers and staff to ensure timely execution and a seamless customer experience. 

Requirements

• Previous experience in floral design or a strong passion for floral art and creativity. 
• Knowledge of flower types, color theory, and design principles. 
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. 
• Excellent customer service and communication skills. 
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with occasional evening and weekend hours. 
• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively. 
• Must be able to lift moderate weight (up to 25 pounds) and perform physical tasks like bending, lifting, and arranging flowers. 
• A positive attitude and the ability to collaborate well in a team setting. 

Additional Information: 

• This is a part-time position with flexible hours and weekends required. 
• 20-30 hours a week 
• Compensation: Hourly rate, based on experience. 
• Opportunities for advancement and additional hours as needed, especially during peak wedding and event seasons.
